Limited Edition Print (Edition of 95)
The original painting, in oil on canvas, shows The Hurlers, a complex of stone circles on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. Legend has it that the stones were people who played at the game of hurling on the sabbath, and were turned into stone by a displeased deity. Amanda’s paintings - in which she took care to include the distant engine houses - are based on an Easter visit.
