Joanna Dawson

I am an avid collector of maps and I recently discovered some old ordnance survey planning maps of the countryside. I spend a lot of my spare time in the countryside and I have a lifelong love of natural history, which often provides inspiration for my work. This series of portraits captures animals that are indigenous to the UK, which I incorporated into the maps of the areas containing their natural habitat. 
There original images are drawn in ballpoint pen and coffee.

Each artist's numbered and signed limited edition print is supplied with an artist's numbered and signed 210mm x 150mm certificate of authenticity.
 
This museum quality print is of an edition of 50 created on 308gsm pure cotton rag fine art paper employing UV encapsulated pigment inks and sealed to provide a fully archival long lasting and vibrant image.

The finished print is supplied in an acid free tissue wrap and shipped in an armoured 4 inch mailing tube.
